After a magical trip to Isafjordur in the Westfjords of Iceland last summer, we are heading back for more!

A chance to paddle in the remote fjords of Iceland, to get close to wildlife, experience local culture and bathe in hot springs! A time to make special memories.

This trip will be led by Gudni from Sea Kayak Iceland, along with myself as the second guide.

The trip will include 6 days on the water, with 3 days of it being a wild camping expedition.

We will explore remote peninsulas, waterfalls and glaciers.

Last year we were lucky enough to get an amazing close experience with a humpback whale.

There are many inland fjords here which gives us the biggest scope to paddle every day, even if the weather is bad. It really is a wonderful location that can offer all types of sea kayaking.

All sea kayaking equipment is provided and included in the price.

This includes P&H Scorpio's of all sizes and some composite kayaks too.

Paddles, spraydecks, bouyancy aids and drysuits along with camping equipment too. All you will need is your sleeping bag.

All accommodation is provided in a shared house, with twin room sharing.

All airport transfers are also included.

The price does not include flights, food/booze, personal insurance.

This trip is suitable for sea kayakers who;

Can get in and out of their boats where there are a few rocks and a little bit of swell.

Can paddle in winds up to force 4 and still make headway.

Can be a competent member of a group and complete a peer rescue.

Can paddle some longer journeys, up to 6 hours in duration.

Can happily wild camp without luxuries of toilets and showers.

If you are in doubt at all about your level or any other questions you might have about the trip, please don't hesitate to give me a call.

A trip to remember!!
